ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Arjun T.V.
The martial art form runs in Arjun's family and he did his first formal training in kalaripayattu under his uncle Guru Lenin Chirayil, Sree Narayana Kalari. Arjun was also a performer at Greenix village for a time span of four years wherein he did shows on a daily basis. It was also an interactive session with foreigners and the native people. He has also freelanced with major dance companies in Kochi like Mamangam The School of Dance, The Floor and Mudra Center for Dance, adding a flavor of kalaripayattu into their dance pieces. Arjun's understanding and love for the martial arts led him to start a new venture called 'Hybrid Kalari'. With a focus on kalaripayattu, the hybrid kalari team amalgamates the martial art with calisthenics, tricking and acrobatics. Arun M S
Arun started learning Kalaripayattu at age of 13. For the past six years, he has been a Kalaripayattu stage performer at Greenix Cultural Village, Cochi and participates in shows all over Kerala. He is also the part of Hybrid Kalari and conducts different workshops and regular classes to spread this traditional martial arts. Jyothish C S Jyothish is a martial artist, practicing kalaripayattu since 8 years. He is also a dancer and an acrobat. Jyothish has also showcased his talents as a martial artist in reality shows and is an active member of Hybrid Kalari. Vibin Joseph C V Vibin has been practicing martial arts since the past 8 years, alongside practicing dance and acrobatics which he started earlier on in life. Performing different stage shows all over india and abroad, Partcipated in different Dance reality shows . For the last five years he has been performing Kalaripayattu at the Greenix cultural village fort Cochi. He is also the part of Hybrid kalari , with the team conducting different workshops and regular classes to spread this traditional martial arts. |
